The company completely recognizes the importance of managing personal information. Based on the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information”, the company has formulated policies to protect the personal information and will familiarize all its employees with the privacy policies.
The company will put its best efforts to manage the authenticated personal information and to provide continuous safety to those providing the personal information starting from the customers (hereinafter to be referred as “providers”).
Our opinion about protecting personal information
The company will establish a management system to protect the personal information used in actual business such as information related to customers or personnel information. The company will also follow internal rules and standards for the following items and will handle the personal information appropriately and carefully.
(1) Gathering personal information
While gathering any personal information, the company will clearly mention the purpose of gathering information to the providers and will follow legal and honest methods to accomplish the necessary objective.
(2) Making use of personal information
The personal information will be used only within the range agreed by the providers for the specified objective.
(3) Providing and depositing personal information
The personal information will be provided or deposited to the third party only within the range agreed by the providers for the specified objective. Further, when there is any plan to provide or deposit the information, the company will obtain necessary approval from the providers beforehand.
(4) Implementing safety measures
The company will certainly protect false access to personal information or loss, damage, manipulation, leakage etc. of personal information by clarifying the rules and regulations regarding handling of personal information, familiarizing all its employees with the privacy policies and by implementing necessary safety measures. Further, when any improvements are required due to the result of internal inspection and illustration of security accident or due to any specific suggestion/request etc. from the providers, the company will promptly make necessary alterations.
(5) Disclosure/correction/deletion of personal information
When there is any request from the providers to disclose/ correct/delete or to stop use or to delete the information, the company will respond to such requests within rational period and scope.
(6) Legal compliance office and improvements
Regarding handling personal information, the company will adhere to the laws/notifications and any other rules applicable to protecting the personal information and will take continuous improvement efforts to handle the personal information appropriately.
